Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actor who has been recognized for her talents. Sagittarius, she was born at the state of North Carolina on 3 December 1960. She is the oldest out of three kids who were born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith who was a psychologist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Her father was an professional and frequently moved the family. It was a struggle to make or keeping her acquaintances. Moore started acting in play after she relocated with her family to Germany. Following the completion of her B.F.A. at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued her training. When she graduated, Moore moved to New York and began her career in off-Broadway theater. Her career in theater began with her debut in New York with Off-Broadway Theater immediately following graduation. In 1985, she made her on-screen debut on The Edge of Night. She played the dual role as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns that was her first major role. She stayed on this show between 1988 and 1990, and was honored with an Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, her first movie appearance was Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The film she later described as a bad low-budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), both Robert Altman productions, were her first film. The latter was critically acclaimed and Moore was nominated for several awards for the film. Moore had her first major role in Safe, a 1995 film. Steven Spielberg's casting of Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the highest grossing films from 1997, marked a major change in Moore's career. The actress received an SAG Award nomination for Magnolia at the end of 1999. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it received nine Academy Award nominations along with Nicole Kidman. Moore was also featured in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore has been in many movies and television shows. She's appeared in numerous movies and TV series. The most recent role she played was In When You Finish Save the World 2022. In her role as a Hollywood actress and children's writer The actress has a long-standing reputation. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and was an N.Y.T. The book became a best bestseller, and then was transformed into a television show as well as musical. The author has also released her memoir, My Mom's Foreigner, the memoir of 2013. In her career as a highly successful actor and writer, Moore's private life is public domain. She was married John Robin in 1984 and they split in 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore later married in 2003, has two kids with her. Moore's focus is on her family, friends as well as her career.
